Eco Environmental are very proud to have partnered with GL events UK Stadia Division who were appointed as the Principal Contractor to undergo the Plymouth Argyle Football Club (PAFC) redevelopment scheme; this is the latest stadium Bird Control project to have been awarded to the team @ Eco Environmental following on from our works at the Emerald Headingley Stadium.

The client contacted us with a view of obtaining a competitive, fixed quotation that would allow for the supply and installation of our 50mm bird netting to be fitted to the soffit area to deny Pigeons from roosting within the Club’s new £6.5millon grandstand, we were especially delighted to support this project as part of our commitment to building local links within our City community.

Solution:

Working from the client’s drawings and plans we were able to specify a humane, cost effective 50mm Pigeon Netting system that would deny any Pigeons from roosting within the underside and soffit area of the new Grandstand. 

Our Bird Netting is one of the most requested control systems and when installed correctly it is a very successful deterrent system thereby ensuring that your buildings and structures are protected against all types of urban bird species, in particular Pigeons and Seagulls. 

Access Strategy:

Two 85ft booms were stationed pitch side to allow for the reach across the Grandstand area – we are able to offer a broad selection of boom lifts designed to meet the needs of different environments and applications such as working on tarmac, pavements and uneven or rough terrain.

All of our IPAF trained MEWP operators have attended a recognised operator training course and received a certificate and card listing the categories of MEWP the bearer is trained to operate.
