Installation of Bird Spikes by our Roped Access Abseil Teams
Wates Living Space contacted Eco Environmental Services to provide a bird deterrent solution to feral pigeons perching on the window ledges to the stair well recesses on the five apartment blocks at Cruddas Park in Newcastle, where refurbishment had recently been completed.
The pigeon problem only became apparent when the scaffolding had been removed and fouling deposits started to build up on the sills and building fascia.
Using one of our highly trained IRATA roped access abseil teams we provided a cost effective solution to install Bird Spikes to all the relevant ledges on the 50m tower blocks. We completed the installation of these pigeon deterrents well ahead of schedule in the beautiful North East weather whilst been sensitive to the residents already occupying the apartments.
