Eco Environmental Services complete Rumney Primary Health facility for Vinci Construction South Wales

Eco Environmental Services were tasked with installing Bird Deterrent Wires to elements of the scheme where bird roosting would be liable to cause unsightly staining and H&S issues. As one of the last trade packages, Eco have been waiting for the opportunity to get on site and complete the works which were completed in one visit to site with our own access and to the satisfaction of Vinci Constructions Project Manager Stephen Lewis. Stephen commented "Dave, the boys have been great and trouble free, they got on with the job and all is complete."

We installed our tried and tested Birdwire system for this project an example of the system (not taken at Rumney) is attached.

The tensioned bird wire system is almost invisible and is designed to prevent perching birds, but without damaging the aesthetics or construction of a building. Eco's Bird Wire is one of the most discrete and widely used anti-perching systems available in the UK for bird control and bird deterrent solutions. It is effective to prevent both feral pigeons and seagulls from perching on the ledges and parapets of buildings.
