Eco Environmental have recently completed successful works to the 110 year old Cathedral in Leeds.
We were initially called in to undertake the Bird Netting works to the historic Grade II listed building by a restoration company however during the site survey carried out by Contracts Manger Stephen Gowling it became evident that some high level decorating and repair works were also required.
These works would have involved undertaking the works from a 70m Cherry Picker coupled with road closures which would have been very expensive and time consuming.
Eco Environmental were able to offer an alternative access solution in the form of Roped Access (IRATA Trained) at a fraction of the cost which pleased the client as they readily accepted.
The installation team were blessed with sunny weather enabling us to complete the works within budget and on time whilst enjoying some stunning views over Leeds City Centre.
Our bird net system was perfect for the 110 year old Cathedral in Leeds being an impenetrable barrier that protects the building. Bird netting is also discreet and as such was a perfect bird deterrent choice for this historic building.
