Pigeon Netting installed to Swansea's former Carlton Cinema
The building had been derelict for many years and our Bird Deterrent Contracts manager David Harry remembers standing in the foyer of the cinema during the original refurbishments.
"The place was full of rotten timbers, the staircase you see today was encrusted with filth, and the water dripped through the rotten roof. Pigeons had found their way into the building and it was all looking very sad.”
Eco's pigeon deterrent specialists installed pigeon netting on the newly refurbished building's facade to pigeon proof the building and prevent pigeons from perching on or around the big feature glass windows and from entering the building through the window openings.
The newly installed bird netting is sensitive to the building's aesthetics and so discreet that it is almost impossible to see. David continues, "Its great to see the Carlton looking so well again after a recent refurbishment and we were delighted to have been involved yet again in protecting the building facade against pigeons.”
