Project: Caddick Construction , Berwick Upon Tweed

Requirement:

Having already worked with Caddick Construction, Eco Environmental were delighted to be contacted once again by this Contractor.

As this was a new build, the Contractor was concerned that the Gulls and Pigeons would eat food waste from the bin store/service yard and Eco Environmental were tasked with providing a preventative solution to protect the area.

Solution:

We specified and installed our 50mm grade black Gull/Pigeon netting to protect the newly built areas from gulls and feral pigeons. Stainless steel fixings were used. Fixings were installed around the perimeter of the area to be protected at approximately 0.5m centres, with M6 eyebolts. Stainless-steel perimeter wire was strung through the fixings and tensioned manually with a barrel strainer.

Access Strategy:

We gained access using a scissor lift to undertake works, hand and power tools were also used.

All our IPAF trained MEWP operators have attended a recognised operator training course and received a certificate and card listing the categories of MEWP the bearer is trained to operate.

Comments:

Eco Environmental Project Manager Stephen Gowling commented “We would like to pass on our thanks to Caddick Construction for giving us this opportunity and for enabling this project to run smoothly and allowing us to complete on time”. Another happy customer.
