Bird Licences: Latest News

Following on from the recent shake-up in April last year regarding the Bird Control general licences you can now read the latest news and view the three current Bird Licences on the Gov.UK website

Natural England withdrew General licences GL04, GL05 and GL06 in late April 2019 and have issued the 3 below general licences:

DEFRA then issued the below 3 licences

If any of the above licenses do not cover your conditions you must apply for an individual license via https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/wild-birds-licence-to-disturb-kill-or-take-for-health-or-safety

As we approach the Gull Nesting Season it’s important to keep on the right side of the law with any Bird Control works you are considering undertaking – at Eco Environmental our Project Manager will always ensure that all of our Bird Control activities are undertaken using the correct licences thereby ensuring our works are completed safely, lawfully and efficiently – please note the WML-GL35 license will not be reviewed until after 29th February 2020.
