Standard Bird Spike Gutter Clips

This Standard Gutter Clip can be used to attach the P8 plastic or P8 steel on to all the usual 1/2 round guttering shapes. All other clips on the market attach the spike right on top of the gutters' leading edge, making the spikes very visible from the ground. Our clips position the base of the spike towards the centre of the gutter and in a much lower position below the rim, making them virtually invisible from the ground and leaving no room for the pigeons to get in behind!

Birdpoint Chimney Pot Bird Spikes

. At 3 1/2 ft long (107cm) and very flexible, it will wrap around absolutely every shape and size of chimney pot - for smaller pots it simply overlaps itself. The flexible strap can even bend around square pots.

. No glue or tools required - the powerful spring locking clip and serrated strap means that slippage is virtually impossible.

. It comes as a complete unit ready to attach - takes 10 seconds to install - simply pull tight around the pot and hook the spring in to one of the fixing holes.

. Chimney sweeps love them as their brushes can push past them then retract with ease - other devices on the market that fit inside are easily knocked out by the shove of a chimney sweeps brush.

This is a point 4 spike with an angles base that fits directly and snugly on to all angled ridge tiles.

Don't use two rows of spikes (one either side of the ridge) when just a single row of our ridge spikes will do the job.

Banish seagulls from the ridge of the property and they are likely to abandon the property completely. This is because they are very territorial and the ridge provides and excellent viewpoint. If you prevent seagulls landing on the ridge the chances are they will move to another ridge on another property. The ridge spike comes in two versions, one with 4 1/2 inch (115mm) pins for pigeons or 6 inch (153mm) which works well on seagulls and pigeons. Fill the base with silicone adhesive then press down directly on to the ridge.

Birdpoint Stainless Bird Spikes for Pigeons, Starlings & Sparrows

THE FIRST STAINLESS STEEL SPIKE.

This is the first spike which has a stainless steel base and wires - made completely from 316 marine grade stainless steel it is the Rolls Royce of bird spikes and may last longer than 25 years.

As well as seagulls and pigeons, it works well for starlings, blackbirds, swallows and sparrows. It has 120 wires per foot (310mm) .

This very dense pattern of protruding pins makes it suitable for large and small birds alike. It will protect ledges 2 - 4 inches (50 - 100mm) wide. To be fully effective no gaps should be left between rows.

FIXING OPTION 1
Apply silicone along the bottom of the strip (because the base is very thin we recommend that you put a very thick squeeze of silicone along the base) then simply press down on to the ledge requiring protection. That's it! Glue and go.

FIXING OPTION 2
If it is possible that the spikes may need to be removed periodically for maintenance or decoration of the ledge, then there are small fixing plates available (two plates per foot required). Simply glue the two plates on to the ledge. After 24 hours you can then return and snap the spike strip directly into the two plates. The advantage now being that you can return at any point and simply unclip the spikes from the two plates, carry out the maintenance then clip the spikes back in.

You should use this product if there is a problem with pigeons, starlings or sparrows or if you need to remove the spikes periodically for maintenance purposes.

Fixing Adhesives & Silicones for Bird Spikes

We stock 4 different types of silicones and adhesives. During the winter months we recommend that you dry the ledge with an old towel or kitchen roll then use Fix-all Grey which will adhere to a damp surface.
All of the tubes will stick 8 - 12 metres of spikes.

. FIX-ALL GREY: - This is our 2nd best seller. It is great to use during the winter and for damp surfaces. Please specify the quantity required once in the basket £ 5.50
