Case Studies
Bird Deterrent Systems installation at Exeter Cathedral:
When Exeter’s 12th Century Cathedral underwent extensive renovation, Eco Environmental were called in to protect the refurbished stonework from the damage caused by roosting birds. Rain mixed with acid in the bird’s fouling had seriously damaged the delicate and ornate stone carvings. Working in close partnership with English Heritage and the project Architects, Eco Environmental fitted discreet bird netting, which had to be fixed into the mortar joints in a way that would not damage the soft stonework and be sensitive to the aesthetics of this ancient and beautiful building.
Building Cleaning of bakeries for Elyo Services:
Elyo services called upon the skills of Eco Environmental when they needed a short-notice and thorough deep clean carried out at the numerous bakeries of a leading supermarket chain. With a tight program of work and discretion a matter of priority, Eco Environmental completed the work out of hours and at night to ensure the project was completed sensitively and on time.
Water Tank Refurbishment at Whitehall Sports Pavilion:
Eco Environmental was called in by Bristol City Council to refurbish the water tank system at the Whitehall Sports Pavilion and put additional protection in place to meet the requirements of Byelaw 30 Regulations. The tanks had suffered extreme degradation and were failing to meet the required standards of quality for stored water. The entire system was cleaned, refurbished, made airtight, lightproof and protected against future contamination. |
